Nandan Cinema Hall
Nandan Cinema Centre is the most famous and popular educational theater center in Kolkata and West Bengal state. It is also known as a cultural centre. The theater was established in 2nd September 1985. World famous filmmaker Satyajit Roy named it. Since then, the theater has been managed by the West Bengal government. The hall is located within 300–400 meters of Rabindra Sadan Metro.

Nandan Cinema Hall is located in the city center of Kolkata. And has excellent transport links by metro and bus. This cinema hall is located within 499 meters from the Victoria Memorial. It will take you 5 to 7 minutes to walk.
History
Nandan was laid by the former Chief Minister of West Bengal Jyoti Basu in 1980. On 2nd September 1985, it was inaugurated by famous film-maker Satyajit Ray. He designed the famous Nandan's Logo for as well. It was designed by architect Bikash Naskar in a Modern style.
It opened with two screens seating 531 and 200, respectively. Later, a third screen with 100 seats was added. Since 1995, it has been one of the main venues for the Kolkata International Film Festival. Now It is operated and owned by the West Bengal Government.

Nandan usually shows a variety of movies at a very low cost. Services are very good here. The building infrastructure and surroundings are very beautiful. This cinema hall opens daily from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is a system for watching movies from balcony seats.
This Cinema Hall has a seating capacity of 800+. Here, movies are shown on 3 screens. The screen types here are 2D and higher. Fantastic sound system that will take the audience to another world. This hall shows movies of various topics including romantic, action, etc.

I am a lady person with 35 age.But unknown anybody can seems like 25. It's not a matter of fact that what is age..because many college guy are regular going to nandan cinema hall including higher educated mentality or nothing, may be only life purpose is fun. But how dare the ticket counter staff that he deny for 50 change and said me either I go or give him Rs.50.This incident happened with me at 3times in 2023.Why Nandan authority keep this salaried staff? for tata bye bye to audience?

Deleted audience it's me also but nothing to do with this bro because this is run by state government so the staff thinks that what they are doing is wright and nobody even raise there voice so that's y these kind of incidents happens over there n authority has no massage obout these kind of incidents r happening over there they should put complaint box over there if I would had to rate about d staffing management I ll rate zero on zero if we don't visit or watch movies how they ll run d cinema hall so they should respect
